ANTHONY TONER IN CONCERT

Acclaimed singer songwriter Anthony Toner makes a welcome return to the ISLAND for his first solo performance with us since October 2022. At this intimate acoustic show expect a selection of songs from Anthony’s extensive back catalogue, with peerless guitar playing on old favourites like ‘Sailortown’, ‘East of Louise’ and ‘Well Well Well’, as well as songs from recent albums like ‘An Alphabet’ and ‘The Protection of the King’.

Along the way he’ll throw in some well chosen cover versions, some blues and of course a few stories from the road with background information on the songs. He may even read a poem or two. One audience member at a recent show commented that the evening was ‘like watching a series of beautiful short films’.
