This eight week course is suitable for complete beginners or those who need to brush up on forgotten skills. You will learn basic techniques on working in rows and rounds, and the dos and don’ts for both methods. As well as how to confidently read a pattern; the correct way to join yarns and change colours; and how to professionally finish, block and sew your crochet items. Before the course begins you will be advised of what you need to bring along.
Every week you will receive comprehensive handouts of everything covered, along with patterns, so you can continue crocheting well after the course has finished. Over the weeks you will make a sampler blanket from the squares you have made, a unique piece to treasure, showing your journey of learning to crochet.
