Your Best Workshop Yet: A Workshop on Creating Great Workshops for All Lisburn & Castlereagh Arts Groups & Creatives
Our first workshop, Your Best Workshop Yet: Planning, Designing, Delivering, is happening on Fri 27 Jun at 11am – 1pm, ISLAND Arts Centre, Workshop 2-3. This session will focus on the key steps to creating engaging and effective workshops of your own.
The arts scene across Lisburn & Castlereagh is buzzing, and we want to help it shine even brighter. At ISLAND Arts Centre, together with Creative Lives want to put art at the heART of our community, making it a welcoming space for everyone. That's why we're kicking off a new series of Arts Development workshops, open to all – whether you're a big organisation, a solo artist, a musician, or a new creative group just starting out. Our goal is simple: give you the practical skills you need to boost your creative projects and reach more people.
We know putting a workshop together can seem daunting. Maybe you're an established group looking to sharpen your outreach, or a new collective eager to share your talents. Your Best Workshop Yet will give you a clear roadmap. We'll cover everything from figuring out who your audience is and crafting content that truly connects, to mastering delivery techniques that get your message across and inspire participants.
This isn't just about learning; it's a chance to meet other creatives, swap ideas, and collectively lift the standard of arts engagement right here in Lisburn & Castlereagh. We believe that by getting better at planning, designing, and delivering quality workshops, we can open up new avenues for artistic expression and community involvement for everyone.
