For confident knitters who are ready to take their skills further. Learn where to begin reading a chart; how to recognise and translate chart symbols into stitches; and how to follow charts that include increases, decreases, lacework and cables.

There will be plenty of hands-on practice as we work through a variety of sample charts together. You'll create swatches using the techniques covered, giving you a solid foundation and the confidence to explore and use charted patterns on your own.

This workshop focuses on building understanding through doing, so expect a relaxed, encouraging day of chart-busting fun!

You will also learn common and speciality stitch symbols; tips for working increases and decreases from charts; best practices for following visual pattern layouts; and creating samples as a learning tool.
